Model Dog Championship Competition Tour
Model Dog Team Information
The first stop of the IJA Sanctioned Model Dog World Championship Competition Tour was at the Pittsburgh Pet Expo in 2017 in the USA. The first international model dog competition recognized and awarded the top individual model dog competitors and the best model dog competition teams in the world.
The first Model Dog Pure Breed Competitions featured trim styles for the Poodle. Competitors created trim styles exhibited in the Conformation Ring, Oldies but Goodies Retro Banded Trims created on Poodles in the '80s and '90s, and the biggest trend we see today the Asian Poodle Trim Styles.
The first event also offered model dog creative competitions to give competitors the opportunity to let their imagination run wild with exotic designs, colors, decorative objects, and presentations. The creative classes offered were Absolutely Abstract - Lines, Shapes, Objects, and Things; Animal Instincts - Real and Imaginary and Gorgeous Glittery Gardens - Flowers, Birds, Butterflies, and Bees.
The second stop of the World Championship Model Dog Competition Tour was conducted in South Korea by the Korean Kennel Club and was a huge success. Thank you Korean Kennel Club for your outstanding hospitality to all country leaders, judges, and competitors.
