Pittsburgh Pet Expo

Rocco Lamanna, the Show Manager for the largest pet trade show on the East Coast, Pittsburgh Pet Expo, made the first IJA Rescue Me Dog Grooming Competitions in 2013 possible. Rocco wanted to offer Pittsburgh the most fair grooming competition event and best education experience and was willing to take a chance on Nash and IJA in the USA.

Rocco’s faith and belief in our vision has been unwavering and each year he continues to impress our Nash and IJA Team. His 15 years of show management experience is evident in his approach, understanding and accommodation for a successful set up and promotion for the show. Pittsburgh Pet Expo will always be the show Nash and IJA announce and implement new and exciting additions to the event.

Our competitors, mobile sponsors, the Nash and IJA Team and the audience are made to feel like they are important at Rocco’s show. As the Pittsburgh Pet Expo continues to grow, Nash and IJA will always be there and be  grateful and appreciative for all the support, understanding and professionalism that Rocco continues to provide at every show. IJA will conduct our qualifying competitions for state, regional and national competitions in 2017 and host the first national competition at the Pittsburgh Pet Expo in 2018.

In 2017 Rocco Lamanna provided the most amazing competition arena to our first in the industry Model Dog World Championship Competitions. Countries from around the world attended and were amazed at the hospitality.

Great Midwest Expo Team – Great Iowa Pet Expo, Great Indy Pet Expo

Cathy Erickson and Tessa Fenimore are the reason they call the Iowa and Indy Pet Expos “Great”. When the Great Midwest Team reached out to Nash and IJA to discuss  hosting IJA Sanctioned Rescue Me Dog Grooming Competitions at their expos, we were impressed with their willingness to offer something new and explore all avenues and possibilities with Nash and  IJA.

In collaboration with the Great Midwest Team, Nash and IJA has been able to conduct the Rescue Me, Creative, Pure Breed and Free Style Competitions partnered with great educational seminars for bathers, groomers, stylists and salon owners with professionalism and flair.

We want to thank Cathy and Tessa, who are outstanding planners and organizers with great visions, for contacting rescue groups, mobile van owners, salon owners and sponsors. A special thanks for the wonderful space for our competitions and seminars. Without your support and dedication, we cannot do what we do .. all for the love of dogs. We look forward to working with the dynamic duo for many years. The Nash and IJA Team thanks the Great Midwest Team.

PMI Entertainment Group - WBAY TV Pet Expo, Green Bay

In 2015, IJA was fortunate to partner with PMI Entertainment Group to host IJA Sanctioned Competitions at the WBAY TV Pet Expo in Green Bay Wisconsin. Holly Williams, Director of Events and Expo Production with PMI, witnessed an IJA Sanctioned Event in Ohio in 2014 and was confident this type of show would be a success for their WBAY TV Pet Expo. She knew it would be of great interest to pet professionals and competitors in the area wanting to compete in dog grooming competitions for all levels.

Holly was right and her Expo and Event Coordinator Heather Ohde was instrumental in the successful planning of the show. Heather worked closely with Nash and IJA Event Planner, Denika Cluett, to discuss the overall ring set up, mobile van sponsors, rescue groups and how the entire system would work to make it a huge success. Nash and IJA and PMI have already decided to do it again in 2017! The Nash and IJA Team would like to thank Holly and Heather for their professionalism, business ethics and commitment to being the best. Heather is great to work with and so responsive to all inquiries. We always feel confident the show would run smoothly!

All American Columbus Pet Expo

Steve Catlin and his son Chris are the perfect duo to present the best pet expo in the area. The show is conducted at the Ohio State Fairgrounds and a wonderful venue for Nash Academy, IJA and the UCCS to conduct competitions and education seminars. The All American Columbus Pet Expo has a great group of rescue groups who work with us to create one of the best Rescue Me Competitions in the USA. Competitors love to gather at this event to exhibit their knowledge and expertise in bathing, grooming and styling dogs in the competition arena.

We thank Steve and his son Chris for their dedication to offering a great event for pet families to attend and bring their dogs with them. Big time thanks for allowing us to show pet families how much we care and the education and dedication required to take care of man's best friend.
