8:45 AM - 9:00 AM DEMONSTRATE STACKING AND PRESENTING

The trainer demonstrates how to stack and present competition dogs by body type.

Demonstrates how stacking can create faults or enhance proper structure and profile.
9:00 AM -9:45 AM TAKE BEFORE PHOTOS AND EVALUATE COMPETITION DOGS

The trainer takes before photos and evaluates each dog on coat type and condition, structure, and trim style.

Coat Type - Discusses proper products, tools, and techniques for coat type.

Structure - Discusses outstanding attributes and faults and how to enhance and correct them.

Trim Style - Makes suggestions to enhance expression and profile.

10:00 AM - 1:00 PM COMPETITION START - FINISH WITH 15 MINUTE JOHNNIE BREAK

IJA competition rules, policies, and procedures are used for the training competition.

IJA Competition Times assigned to prepare competitors for future competitions and certifications.

Evaluation forms documented by trainers during the competition to explain strong and weak points.
1:00PM - 1:15PM COMPETITION FINISH

The trainer takes after photos to use at end of training and to send to competitors after the event.

Trainer conducts evaluations on technical skills, profiles, and expressions on all competition dogs and documents on the evaluation form to send to participants after the event.
1:15PM - 2:00PM LUNCH
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EXPLANATION OF PLACEMENTS

Trainer discusses placement and asks competitors to place each other in order.

Trainer lines the dogs up in order of placement by competitors.

Trainer lines the dogs up in order of placement by the trainer and justifies placements by discussing technical, profile, difficulty, and professionalism scores.
3:00PM - 3:15PM BREAK
3:15 PM - 5:00 PM EVALUATION AND MAKEOVER OF COMPETITION DOGS

The trainer takes competition dogs and makes suggestions and corrections on how to achieve the highest scores.

The trainer uses Before and After Photos to compare and evaluate competition dog.

The trainer gives suggestions such as how to level topline - how to move tuck up forward - how to create balance.

5:00 PM - 5:30 PM TAKE AFTER JUDGE MAKEOVER PHOTOS

Take after competition photos to show and compare the 3 phases of the championship training workshop and the progress during the training.
