Angela Anderson started her grooming career in 2000. She was taught by a New Zealand grooming academy and has been upskilling ever since and believes continuing education should never stops to reach your goals in the pet industry.

 

Her 5 most prestigious achievements in the art of bathing, grooming and styling are:

  • Runner up Best in Show in first grooming competition in New Zealand.

  • Many first place wins with terrier breeds in New Zealand and Australia.

  • First place wins in the Poodle and Bichon Frise Classes. 

  • New Zealand Groomteam member for 6 years

  • Currently Manager of the New Zealand Groomteam.

Angela is a Certifier for National Dog Groomers Association with a wide range of knowledge and skills on many breeds and specializes in Poodles, Bichons, English Cocker Spaniel and Terriers. 

Angela started her judging career in 2014 with a goal to be a judge in all classes.  She completed apprentice judging with Shaunna Bernardin in China and apprentice judging in Australia with Vivian Nash. 

Angela has exhibited outstanding skills and knowledge about the model dogs, the newest training tool in the industry. She is the country team leader and country judge for New Zealand for the IJA Sanctioned World Championship Model Dog Competition Tour.
